At the Baiting House we take full advantage of the amazing variety of quality produce available from all around us – wherever possible here in the Teme Valley, but also from our neighbours in the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The only ingredients where we have to look further afield is for fish, given that both counties are landlocked, but even here we have an amazing fishmonger who supplies us with fresh fish every day.
Our passion for fresh, local ingredients is what led to the award of an AA 2 Rosette award for culinary excellence within 12 months of our opening.

Daily specials are inspired by fresh ingredients available each morning from our local suppliers. We use meat from local farms and game from local shoots. In addition to our á la carte, lunch & dinner menus, we always have freshly made sandwiches at lunchtimes, delicious Sunday roasts and a separate children’s menu. Lighter, fresher dishes in the summer and more robust, warming dishes during the winter with “A Baiting House Pub Classic of the Day”
Pizza on the Patio
During the summer months we've installed a wood-burning pizza oven to create authentic thin, crispy pizzas for customers enjoying a drink on the patio. Toppings follow the same principles as the rest of our food - fresh, local wherever possible and totally delicious!
Pizzas are only available during clement weather as they're available on the patio only. No bookings - just turn up and enjoy.
