Not every great stay needs to be big. The Studio Lodges are designed for two — couples who want their own front door, their own space, and their own slice of Herefordshire countryside, without paying for rooms they won't use.
They're beautifully fitted out, smartly laid out, and set in their own peaceful field within The Baiting House grounds. Step outside and you're straight into open countryside. Step inside and everything is exactly where it should be.
Four of the eight Studio Lodges come with their own private Jacuzzi hot tub — and whether a hot tub is included is clearly shown when you book, so there are no surprises.
What's inside?
A king-size bed, walk-in shower with complimentary toiletries, a breakfast bar, Nespresso machine, free WiFi and Freeview TV. Cosy seating — either a sofa for two or a pair of armchairs, depending on the lodge. Private terrace with outdoor seating.
The Studio Lodges don't have cooking facilities — they're not designed for self-catering, and frankly they don't need to be. Our dining room is a short stroll away, and we think that's a better way to spend an evening than washing up.
Dogs: Studio Lodges are perfect for dogs - they have access from the front door straight out into the field.
Outside
Your own private terrace and — in four of the lodges — a Jacuzzi hot tub. The Herefordshire sky at night is genuinely something. Dark skies, no noise, stars you'd forgotten existed. Hot tub or not, the terrace is worth lingering on.
Bring the dog
Studio Lodges are ideal for guests travelling with dogs. Step straight out of the front door into the field — no roads, no faff, just open space. Dogs are very welcome here and we've made sure they'll feel at home.
