Luxury Countryside Accommodation
This is your escape from the noise — a small, carefully looked-after collection of lodges and rooms tucked into the Herefordshire hills. Perfect for a luxury midweek break or weekend staycation
Whether you're after a romantic weekend, a family break, or simply somewhere beautiful to do absolutely nothing for a few days, you'll find your fit here.
We have three types of accommodation, each with its own character. Have a look and find yours.
Luxury Detached Lodges with Private Hot Tubs
The full experience. Spacious lodges with king-size beds, full kitchens, proper living rooms, and your own private Jacuzzi hot tub on the terrace. Named after rare local breeds of sheep, each one is a self-contained retreat with everything you need to properly switch off.
Sleeping up to four, and dogs very welcome.
Studio Lodges
Compact, considered, some with hot tubs
Don't let the word "studio" fool you. These lodges make smart use of space — king beds, en suite bathrooms, breakfast bars, and cosy seating. Some come with their own private hot tubs, and it's always clearly shown when you book.
Perfect for couples looking for something cosy and self-contained.
Boutique Inn Rooms
Character and charm in the main house
Three rooms right in the heart of The Baiting House itself — two generous king rooms and a cosy double. Full of warmth and personality, with the bar and kitchen just downstairs. The simplest way to stay, and often the most convivial.

Explore the Area - The Baiting House sits in the heart of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire countryside, with walking, wine, cider, history and market towns all within easy reach. We've put together a local guide to our favourite spots so you can make the most of your time here.
Bringing the dog? — You're very welcome. Several of our lodges are particularly well suited to dogs, with direct access to open fields. We love them nearly as much as you do.
